Description of measurements of the new cathedral and the advances made in the construction. Description of the construction of the convento de capuchinas in Monterrey. An accounting of the costs in the construction. The relacion contains the names of 40 workers. The date of the relacion is December 1, 1796; Obispo of Nuevo Reyno de Leon writes to virrey describing the progress of the construction of the cathedral. Letter from the ayuntamiento of Monterrey for virrey requesting him to tell the Obispo to moderate his impulsive behaviors, because he is making a lot of trouble with frequent excommunications. (D. Compa established at Janos with small troop of Chiricahuas. Yagonxli, natanfui, other Gilenos in reduccion at Ojos Colorados near Janos. Yagonxli sincerely wants peace, but begs release of his Brother Tagaguechie from chaingang in capital before he will make treaty. Ugarte y Loyola tries to arrange it. Yagonxli, his men on work detail at Janos. Rich exalting nature, death better than humiliation. Also warrior. Letter from Compa to his Father Ugarte y Loyola, part of another page blocking most of content. Draft of letter saying bad idea to make peace with Apaches, preferable to keep trust of Comanches, other tribes who hate Apaches. Suggests capturing all Apaches, shipping adults to Havana. (A. Summary
Concerns Series of documents dealing with the construction of a church in Teul. Indians who are building the church asked their freedom in exchange for free labor they are providing. Indian auxiliaries from Teul solicit the grant of land for favors provided to the king in the conquest of Nayarit (document gives account of the events in which Indians helped the captain fighting Indian enemies in Nayarit.
